March 19 Presidential’s Five states are gearing up for their presidential nominating contests next Tuesday, following President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump securing enough delegates to secure their parties’ nomination. As both candidates pivot towards the general election in November, Biden faces resistance from some Democratic voters protesting his support for Israel’s actions against Hamas in Gaza. March 19 Presidential movement, which has gained traction in states with already-held primaries, advocates for voters to mark “uncommitted” on their ballots to signal opposition to Biden’s stance.

In Arizona, supporters of the “uncommitted” movement are rallying behind Democrat Marianne Williamson over Biden, despite Williamson suspending her campaign after Nevada’s primary and subsequently reactivating it. Biden’s narrow victory over Trump in Arizona in 2020 by a margin of just 10,000 votes underscores the significance of the state’s electoral dynamics. Recent polling data from Beacon Research shows Trump leading Biden by 4 percentage points in this year’s rematch, with Arizona’s sizable Hispanic population potentially influencing the outcome, as more Hispanic voters are shifting their allegiance towards Trump.

Meanwhile, in Florida, the Democratic primary has effectively been canceled by the state party, with Biden listed as the sole candidate on the ballot. On the Republican side, Trump faces no challengers, as Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who had ended his presidential bid in January and endorsed Trump, is not contesting.
