The match, which featured 27-year-old Paul and 58-year-old Tyson, was streamed live on Netflix and held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Despite the large crowd, Tyson struggled throughout the fight, landing only 18 punches compared to Paul’s 78, leaving fans disappointed.

“First and foremost, Mike Tyson – it’s an honor to be able to fight him,” said Paul.

“It was as tough and hard as I thought it would be.”

Tyson, wearing a knee brace, struggled to mount a challenge after being wobbled by left hands in the third round. However, he defended well enough to avoid serious damage.

He admitted after the contest to fighting through a leg injury.

“Yeah, but I can’t use that as an excuse. If I did, I wouldn’t be in here,” Tyson said.

“I knew he was a good fighter. He was prepared, I came to fight. I didn’t prove nothing to anybody, only to myself. I’m not one of those guys that live to please the world. I’m just happy with what I can do.”

Tyson, a fearsome heavyweight champion in the late 1980s and early 1990s, returned to the ring after nearly 20 years. This fight marked his first professional bout in almost two decades. When asked about future matches, Tyson was non-committal about returning to the ring again. #PaulBeatsTyson
